Studying Psychology in the UK
Psychology in the UK is one of the UK’s most popular degrees, psychology is the study of the mind, personality and relationships.

Psychology degrees in the UK attract both those from scientific and arts backgrounds and the mixture of applied sciences, philosophy and social studies means that students can take their studies in a number of directions. Most university degree courses offer an introductory level course in the first year which deals with the core elements of the subject. Initially, most psychology courses use themes such as mental health, childhood and evolution to explore the science of psychology but by the second and third year students deal with more abstract, detailed areas of psychology such as neuroscience, cognitive processes and the psychology of ageing or prejudice. Most courses require some kind of original research during the final year, whether observational or with computer modelling.
